About the Founder
Theo GuethingÂ
Throughout his career working with individuals navigating recovery, homelessness, returning citizens, and other major life transitions, Theo repeatedly saw the same barrier: people were increasingly expected to use technology to access essential services without always being given the skills or support to do so.

He founded DFI to help close that gap. Theo’s approach is practical and person-centered—meeting people where they are, teaching at their pace, and helping them build the confidence to use technology safely and independently. Through DFI, he works to expand digital literacy, online safety, scam awareness, responsible AI use, and access to the tools people need to participate fully in an increasingly digital world.
